Hey, local Atlanta paper! When I open the sports pages, I want to read about sports, not politics. Of course, that won't do in such a high-minded publication. Terence Moore once again whines about how Babe Ruth didn't play against any blacks, so therefore he wasn't that great or anything, because blacks are inherently superior in their physical makeup, as we all know, and that's OK to point out if you're a black liberal columnist.
Didn't Jackie Robinson hit against all white pitchers, too? He was great, right? I think Babe Ruth was probably black and told no one.
How about we stipulate once and for all that blacks had some pretty shoddy treatment some decades ago, and get over it? Let's get some sports in there. Or at least regale us with how Babe Ruth would have done if he faced a better diet.
