Report: Atlanta "quality of life" near bottom
Georgia capital ranks 64th out of 72 major U.S. cities
I am sad for you people. I'm going to eat carbohydrates now to comfort myself.
Speaking of shock jocks, what does Al Sharpton want now? How is showing everyone that a dead cracker's ancestor may have owned your ancestors going to result in some sort of profit? Where's he going with this? I'm trying to figure out the game this time.
"I can't find out anything more shocking than I've already learned," Sharpton told the Daily News, which reported the link Sunday based on genealogists' findings.
Well, no, Al. I'd pay money to see your face when someone trots out a chart that says the Sharpton family owned Strom Thurmond's family. Now, that would be something.
I think that black people do own white people now, in a way. They've heaped so much allegation and scorn on whites and their thought crimes over the years, that white people are just so worn down by the criticism. They're terrified. White people have come to accept that there is something inherently wrong with their way of life. So Sharpton is just trying to acquire more properties for the cosmic game of Ethnic Monopoly he plays with his leaderpals.
"Damn Al Sharpton, you landed on "Strom Thurmond's Family." I wanted to buy that property."
"Jesse, shut the fuck up and pass me a hotel."
"Let's trade. Give me Strom Thurmond and I'll give you Michael Richards and the Duke Lacrosse Team."
"Hell no, turkey!"
Professional genealogists, who work for Ancestry.com, found that Sharpton's great-grandfather Coleman Sharpton was a slave owned by Julia Thurmond, whose grandfather was Strom Thurmond's great-great-grandfather.
Well, it just so happens. How about that? Isn't that a coincidence? Hey, as long as he's paying the pros, can't they put something together that says he was owned by Anna Nicole Smith's family? That would actually be lucrative.
