The Imus Virus continues to spread with no end in sight.
Rodney (Straight-Haired) Ho, in one of the local Atlanta papers, yawns at the fireworks and writes:
Well, this was predictable after MSNBC and national advertisers bailed on Don Imus after his insensitive remarks regarding the Rutgers women’s basketball team. Now CBS Radio has dropped him..
Fair, unfair? Are you all tired of this topic already?
Are WE tired of it? Isn't this the same news medium that can't wait to file it's next story pointing out the deficiencies in the white race or talk radio? WE, the readers have been observing this circus that YOU and your peers started in order to further an agenda to stifle conservative talk radio as a counterpoint to the one-sided (OK, I lied. Blatantly distorted....OK, I lied again....false) account of the world you present daily.
To answer your question, no. WE are not tired of it. We can't afford to get tired of it. Like we can't afford to tire of Iraq as you ink-stained dainties have long ago. Even after being told repeatedly that the War in Iraq, even if fought ruthlessly and effectively, would take many tough years. Is defending your home against people who have vowed to kill you boring?
Sharpton and his processed hair thugs have won this round, but there will be many more skirmishes, so We can't afford to tire of something that strikes us so directly as a double standard of justice. Where in the Imus case does the term "punishment must fit the crime" come into play? How can one get bored when, right before our very eyes, for an entire week the two Christian "reverends" go all out to destroy a fundamental tenet of Christianity called "forgiveness." Is that boring to you? Seriously, how much does journalism malpractice insurance cost? Must not be much, but still, all those premiums for ADD medicine must be rough.
Hey, Rodney! Ask your editors this. Innocent members of a hard-working, successful college sports team get smeared as a bunch of sexual deviant lowlifes? Sound familar? No,not Rutgers Women's Basketball.
The Duke Lacrosse Team.
Took them over a year to get justice. Some media outlets still have trouble bringing themselves to print the lying NHH's name, Crystal Gail Mangum. Hey, Crystal Gail. Don't it make your brown eyes browner being full of shit?
Stay with me. Fair, unfair? Or is the whole Duke lacrosse thing too boring to follow? Get back to Us.
