I am aware that there are other pressing matters in our world that need my commentary, so just a few quick things.
Larry Birkhead is the father of Anna Nicole's baby? Lucky, lucky kid.
Pink is on TV right now singing "You and Your Hand," a song complaining about how men take her out on dates and then expect some sexual activity to commence.
You are not a sex object.
Disco Inferno called me back last evening to inform me that my hunches were correct. There was no $10,000 buy-in for the poker game at the home in Roswell where he was busted, and some neighbor ratted them out and blew it out of proportion to see to it that the SWAT team would show up. Don't know why the axe was grinding.
Even Lt. Steve Rose, retired Fulton Co. PD, now with Sandy Springs PD, mocked the whole raid in his column. Read it.
Remember to pick up a FREE DISCO shirt online now at the House of Wachs store. The shirts are not free.
It certainly looks promising for Willie B's place. They have a vice grip on the title "America's Busiest Airport."
Even MARTA's chairman goes there for a tussle.
Among those arrested is Ed Wall, the board chairman of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. An officer said he saw Wall having oral sex with another man. Wall, who has temporarily stepped down from his post, has maintained his innocence.
Good luck, Ed. You'll need it. Sorry, I kind of ruined it for you by proving recently that what happens in a Fulton County public restroom is not private at all, but have a go at it. Just tell them you were planning a radio bit and they may be lenient.
I hope they don't send him to prison. It seems more like a reward.
Can't resist. Some local Imus-related news
Georgia House Rep from Riverdale, former NY Jets lineman, and possible Al Qaeda cell leader, Roberta Abdul-Salaam took some Al Sharpton-granted license to snap sum us crackers into shape for not getting with the program.
A proposal to hang a portrait of Coretta Scott King in the state Capitol died in a legislative committee Wednesday, prompting a racially charged rebuke from the measure's sponsor.
House Special Rules Committee members said they rejected the measure because they believe King has already been sufficiently recognized and the Capitol should be reserved for Georgia lawmakers.
Rep. Roberta Abdul-Salaam (D-Riverdale), who sponsored the resolution, lashed out at the committee....
"It is just like calling Mrs. King a nappy-headed (n-word)," Abdul-Salaam told reporters after the committee rejected House Resolution 376, killing it for this legislative session.
What a coincidence. The other day I heard this song by 50 Cent:
Get your hoe out of pocket, I'll put a charge on a bitch
Cause I need 4 TVs and AMGs for the six
Hoe make a pimp rich, I ain't playing bitch
Catch a date, suck a dick, hang a Coretta Scott portrait!
Finally some sanity in the debate over where to hang pictures of the wives of slain civil rights leaders. Too bad she was roundly ignored. Black people's problems would have vanished.
