I have not seen any national polling data on impeachment of Obama. Has there been any? And if not, then why not? A good short term strategy would be to trap the government-approved news humps on TV into putting the word on their lips everyday whether they like it or not. How? Polls. They love 'em.
I'm not a Constitutional scholar nor an attorney, but merely a humble thinker of great thoughts, and I do know for a fact that all presidents, Marxist or genuine, take an oath to protect our Constitutional liberties, although Obama's two gaffe-filled stabs at it in January 2009 were sort of an omen of abrogations to come, looking back on it.
We have enough on our collective plates currently trying to push back the government takeover of our bodies (exempting, of course, female government workers whose unionized wombs will be the only organs in the US officially granted "choice" thanks to an insurance "carve out" which is a pretty unfortunate use of the term in context), so impeachment is a faint noise in the distance.
We must continue, as we have since last summer, to set the terms of the argument by effectively getting the idea of impeachment in the public's mind. We need to reaffirm to ourselves and our enemies that abridging our founding document has heavy consequences for those who go against it, and the ability to pick the NCAA brackets in the office today after a nice lunch of green beer pints and wings served by big-breasteded waitresses at the Tilted Kilt flows directly from those documents.
One effective way to further arouse an already aroused populace to the issue would be to poll impeachment's popularity everyday starting yesterday. It could have 25% popularity right now for all we know, but my feeling is that with constant polling on the question it could become a meme that grows in popularity as it's repeated.
Further, I would implore my fellow Atlantans to refer to the numerous streets named after the local fruit thusly:
UNINFORMED LOSER: "Can you tell me where the free money office is?"
YOU: "Yeah, that's on Impeachtree Street."
Memes are what got us into this mess. Let's start memeing back. Rasmussen? Gallup? Freedomworks? TPPatriots? Yes? OK. Good. Let's do this.
